Hey All, thought id throw up a quick post about the annual RNLI Dinner, was a very 
entertaining night, the resident RNLI Michael Buble tribute artist was very entertaining thoughout the evening. im very tired now, its just ticked past 2am and have a big day tomorrow so im going to hit the hay, i may start VLogging tomorrow, what are your thoughts? let me know. The word “blog” is one of the most popular words on the internet today, so i thought id give you an insight into why i blog. When i first started blogging i used it to tell people about what i was getting upto with the community, I.E last year all the youth work, RNLI, and NCS Voluntary work i did thoughout my summer. but as all of that came to an end i changed my blogging style and started reflecting on how i was conducting my life, i also find blogging compulsive, if i get a brainwave or an inspiration i tend to write it here
So two days ago i decided it would be cool to try and use Foursquare’s API to show you guys where i am in the world and what badges ive earnt and when. So i did a little digging around and found a few plugins for WordPress, All seemed to be going well until i started integrating the API’s. This really didnt go very well and presented me with a big problem, I then decided to dump the whole idea I may come back to it in a few days but i wont be doing a lot now as im back to work, Due to the API Issue’s i had a place holder that overwrote the whole website with a message about the API connections not working.
So on saturday me and two of my friends hit the road and decided to go down to exeter the drive was ok really, didn’t take us very long to get there. Once we actually got to Exeter the headache began, I’ve spoken to a few people about this and all I’ve had is people laughing but this is the first city I’ve been to on my own so wasn’t too sure, 
but granted finding a car park was relatively easy, finding a parking space wasn’t to hard either. We saw some pretty random things go on in Exeter. most of the shops there were really quite over priced but i went to get away from local life, a few outdoor shops dotted around city centre, as i walked past topshop topman we found some protesters ranting and raving about shutting down topshop and blah blah blah, i couldn’t be bothered to even ask lol, anyways one of the on
ly other thing i thought was quite random was that their was a van randomly parked in the street, when i passed again about an hour later there were dancers and a who bunch of random people stood around dancing to music, like seriously my local area we wouldn’t ever get that. so we walked around for a few hours, decided to pick up a hot dog and whilst asking the guy a question he tells me he’s from Bideford, in devon how crazy is that the one person i talk to in exeter and he lives about 25 minutes away from me soo yeah random much. On the way home i tried to use my phone to get me out of Exeter, to start with i thought i knew where i was going… i was wrong i think i say the same building about 4 times and once i got past that hiccup i followed a country road that turned out to be the completely different route but hay it took me home and was alot more fuel efficient, its time for me to wrap this up now im fairly tired been quite busy today so hopefully ill be back soon with another blog for you, Laters All
Hey all, thought I’d try and get another post out for you all. This year I have a lot going on, I’ll be involved with ncs southwest again this year, as well as my involvement with the RNLI and the local youth groups, I will also be taking a few outdoor pursuits courses so that I can be part of a team offering outdoor activities in and around Devon. I would have got this post out sooner but as you’ve probably noticed I have a new design, I buried my head in the coding of a new theme over the weekend as well as revamping my old theme for Northstar Outdoors I’ve had a very productive weekend and intend on having many more like it, over the new few days I’m going to be sorting out minor details across both websites where possible. Anyways time to wrap this up peace out y’all
